SAN LEANDRO — A man was shot Sunday afternoon while riding in a car on Interstate 580, the California Highway Patrol said.The man sustained non life-threatening injuries. The CHP did not provide any additional information about the victim.The shooting happened about 2 p.m. Sunday on eastbound I-580 near Benedict Drive. No one else in the vehicle was injured. (BCN) -- A woman suffered major injuries after a suspected sideshow participant crashed into her car while fleeing police early Sunday in Antioch. Police received multiple reports at approximately 2:51 a.m. about a sideshow developing at the Antioch Marina Harbor and Smith's Landing parking lots. As officers set up to disperse the sideshow, a vehicle fled the marina at a high rate of speed with no lights on, police said. (KRON) -- Santa Clara police are asking for the public's help to identify a woman who died after she was struck by an SUV early Sunday morning. The woman was between 25-35 years old, average weight and height, had brown hair, blue eyes, and several tattoos. Police said she was either white or Hispanic.The fatal accident was reported to emergency dispatchers just before 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
